Vegan white chocolate

While there are many vegan dark chocolate options in the stores, I can’t seem to find a white version.

I used to love white chocolate, especially paired with matcha.

So why not make it at home?

The most important ingredient is cocoa butter, this is the one that gives it that creaminess and taste.





INGREDIENTS for about 200 grams of chocolate:

- 100 grams cocoa butter

- 60 grams powdered soy milk

- 1 teaspoon coconut oil

- 25 grams powdered sugar

- 3 tablespoons vegan milk of your choice

- vanilla


In a small bowl mix the vegan milk and the powdered soy milk until the powdered one melts.


Add water to a saucepan and heat it until it boils.

Now place a heatproof bowl (ceramic, metal) on top, making sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water. This will create a double boiler.


Melt the cocoa butter and the coconut oil. Stir continuously.

Add all the other ingredients and continue mixing until everything melts.


The chocolate is now ready.

Pour it while it’s hot into molds to harden.
