Who doesn’t love a good hazelnut spread? Creamy, rich, sugary... Unlike the store bought versions, this recipe is palm oil free, milk free and packed with hazelnuts!!
You can simply spread it on a slice of bread or add it to your dessert recipes.
INGREDIENTS for 1 jar:
- 100 grams sugar
- 100 grams roasted hazelnuts (without the skin)
- 200 grams vegan dark chocolate
- 200 ml hazelnut milk
- vanilla extract (optional)
Mix the sugar and the hazelnuts in a food processor until they get a creamy texture.
Add small quantities at at time of the hazelnut milk and keep mixing.
Put this mixture in a small pan to cook on low heat. Add the vanilla and the chocolate.
Cook for about 7 minutes, until the chocolate melts and the mixture becomes smooth.
Pour the spread in a jar and store in the fridge. Take it out of the fridge a few minutes prior to serving.
