Crispy pizza with mushrooms

Have you ever tried making your own pizza? We actually prefer the homemade version.

This dough is so yummy and crispy, we simply adore it.

For this recipe we topped the pizza with only tomato sauce and mushrooms, but if you have any vegan cheese you can add it to this recipe.

INGREDIENTS for 1 pizza:

For the pizza dough:

- 125 grams of durum wheat flour

- 170 grams of white wheat flour

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 tablespoon extra vergin olive oil

- 1 teaspoon white sugar

- 10 grams yeast

- 230 ml lukewarm water

For the topping:

- 125 grams tomato paste

- 5 large champignon mushrooms

- 1 tablespoon extra vergin olive oil

- salt

- oregano

Start by preparing the pizza dough.

We used a dough mixer, but you can also prepare it by hand.

Mix the durum wheat flour and the white wheat flour in the mixer. Add the salt, the sugar and the oil.

In a small bowl mix the yeast with lukewarm water. The lukewarm water will melt the yeast and will also activated.

You can now add the yeast and water in the mixer with your flour.

Mix well for about 10 minutes, until the dough becomes elastic and smooth.

Grease a large bowl with some olive oil and place the dough. Cover it with a kitchen cloth and let it rise for 3 hours in a warm and drafts-free area.

Passed the 3 hours, place the dough in a greased pizza pan and stretch it with your hands.

Let it rise for another 30 minutes directly in the pizza pan.

In a small bowl mix together the tomato paste, salt, oregano and olive oil and place it on the pizza.

Cut the mushrooms in thin slices and add it on top.

Cook at 200 degrees Celsius (390 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20-25 minutes.

Your pizza is now ready to be devoured!!
